  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn, green beans)

  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup

  • 1/2 cup milk or heavy cream

  • 1/2 small onion, chopped

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

  • 2 tbsp butter

  • 1/2 tsp salt

  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

  • 1/2 tsp dried thyme

  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (or puff pastry/crescent rolls)

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  • Sauté aromatics: In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onions and garlic. Cook until soft (about 3 minutes).

  • Add vegetables: Stir in frozen vegetables and cook for 4–5 minutes until just tender.

  • Create filling: Add cream of chicken soup, milk, shredded chicken, and seasonings. Stir until everything is warm and bubbly.

  • Assemble: Pour the mixture into a greased 9×13″ casserole dish. Smooth it out evenly.
